WHO ISÂ LINDSEY DONOHUE?
In 2006, at just 18 years old, I stepped into the hair industry with no idea it would lead me to salon ownership. Back then, there were no apprenticeships available where I lived, so I took a leap of faith as a booth renter - though, in hindsight, it wasn't the wisest choice. I spent four years in that role, growing a thriving business in my small town.
Ready for more, I moved to Charleston and joined a commission salon, determined to sharpen my skills and gain new experiences. Over time, I evolved into a booth renter and grew into a lead educator role, discovering a passion for mentoring stylists and creating a space where they could thrive.
Teaming up with Tiffany, we crafted a business plan, signed the lease for our dream space - and then COVID hit. We pivoted, running four small salon suites to stay afloat. A year later, Moxie Park Salon was born: a commission-based salon combining the best of booth rental benefits with structured support.

Our journey has taken us from assistant to
commission stylist, booth renter, suite owner, and now proud owners of a thriving 12-chair commission salon. Â

TIFFANY MUNOZ?
I became a hairdresser at 8, giving my Barbie’s hair some much-needed love. From dreaming of owning a salon in cosmetology school to building Moxie Park Salon with my business partner, Lindsey, my journey has been all about passion, growth, and big dreams.
Starting as a commission stylist, I soaked up everything I could before transitioning to booth rental, where I discovered a surprising love for numbers. I later moved south, found my stride in a commission salon, and fell in love with mentoring apprentices.
Throughout my career, I’ve done it all: booth rental, commission, salon suite, and now salon owner. Each chapter has taught me that success isn’t just about honing skills; it’s about building a team, growing alongside others, and sharing the journey. At Moxie Park, we’ve built a place where stylists can dream big, stay inspired, and keep learning and growing together.
